In 2002 after the release of their compilation album, they announced that they were going on hiatus once again and released two singles, "Want to Leave Shibuya" and "Back to the House". The latter contained a self-cover of their major single "Melty Love". On May 29, 2007, Shazna announced that they would be reuniting for limited shows. Their first show was on September 5, 2007 at New Generation in Tokyo, the same place as their reunion show. The band's last performance was on March 22, 2009 at Seibu Ikebukuro O-East in Tokyo.[2]
In 2012, a new single named "The End of the Favorite One" was released to celebrate their 20th anniversary.[9] On February 21, 2013, a full album named Sound -7 was released, and a new single named "My Favorite is You" was released on May 13, 2016 and quickly become their second single in the top 10 position of Oricon sales chart.[9]
Shazna released their major seventh single "June Rain", on July 16, 2019. It is the first single to be released in a very long time. Only a week later, they released the major eight single. This single was used as the theme song for the television show, Yume o Odososu - MAGIC THE GIRL.[4] d2c66b5586
